This year has seen the launch of 'Tamper Evident Plates'. This has involved a great deal of consultation and research to develop a product that meets the required criteria. In basic terms the DVLA in conjunction with the government and police authorities, asked us to design and manufacture a product that:
a) Could not be removed from the vehicle in under 3 minutes.
b) If removed could not be re-used.
This has been initiated because of the increasing number of number plate thefts and vehicle cloning in the UK.
Our product 'SafePL8' not only meets these requirements but exceeds them!
